When my wife and I move back to Atlanta this fall, we're interested in exploring Anabaptist apprenticeship to Jesus in full. In my web perusings, I've found Atlanta Mennonite Church (http://atlantamennonite.org ) but little else. We're definitely going to check them out, but I was wondering if any of you knew of anything happening under-the-radar. Ideally we'd like to be part of an intergenerational church that's radical, yet traditional; mystical, yet practical; participatory, yet liturgical (kind've like St Gregory of Nyssa's in San Fran: http://www.saintgregorys.org ) I know, I know, I feel like a consumerist whore even putting it this way. And before you tell me to plant it myself - I just don't think that's what the Good Lord has for us in this season of life. : )
Hey Mark - I won't be living there yet, but there's a chance we might be there anyway. My good friend Seth will be in town during that same period with his family, playing some shows. If we're there, I definitely want to meet...I'll let you know as the date draws closer!
