Anyone in South Bend or the surrounding area?

My wife and I just moved to South Bend, Indiana so that I can attend Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary in Elkhart. We are hoping to find some similarly-minded believers to get in touch with, and also to work on a ministry project that has been percolating in our hearts and minds for some time.

My wife, Cathy and I, have lived in the near northwest neighborhood of South Bend since 1996 with our four children. We are intentional neighbors with several other households. We share a regular meal and prayers as well as cars, washing machines, guest space and all other manner of things. Some of us help with retreat space a block away. We have many relationships with neighbors and neighborhood children. I'm on the pastoral team at Kern Road Mennonite Church (on sabbatical through mid-Sept). I believe I've met Cathy, though I'm not sure I could pick her out by name in a crowd if I had to - lots of new faces! We stayed with friends at the CW when we were here looking for a place, Biff arranged it for us and we stayed at Mike Baxter's house.
